Sponsors Matching Scholarship Opportunities

Tuition scholarships presented to the winners by OCPA are applicable to any college or university. Select schools in Oklahoma have offered to match the OCPA prizes at varying levels. In order to claim the potential matching scholarships, winners must meet all enrollment and ongoing academic requirements of that particular institution.

Bacone College (BC) will provide three scholarships which will pay 25% tuition or 25% tuition, room and board to any of the contestants who are eligible for Financial Aid and who want to attend Bacone.
NWOSU
Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NWOSU) will offer a one-year (two semesters) double-occupany room scholarship for the top contest winner. This scholarship has a cash value of one thousand three hundred dollars and is good for the 2012-2013 academic year. This award is contingent upon the studtent’s admission to NOSU.
OC
Oklahoma Christian University (OC) ) will match OCPA’s five prize amounts for winners who attend OC. Winners must meet all enrollment and ongoing academic requirements for that institution.
Rose State College
Rose State College (RSC) will match one (1) scholarship - $1000 (to be divided as $500 for Fall 2012 and $500 for Spring 2013 – tuition only). Student must be in at least 6 credit hours per semester and an Oklahoma State resident in order to use the scholarship.
SEOSU
Southeastern Oklahoma State University (SEOSU) is offering a tuition waiver scholarship for the winners in the amount of $1,000. Recipient(s) must be Oklahoma resident(s) who is fully admissible to Southeastern and enrolled as a full-time student(s). Upon enrollment at Southeastern the award will be applied half ($500) toward tuition for the Fall 2012 semester and half ($500) toward tuition for the Spring 2013 semester.
SCU
Southwestern Christian University (SCU) in Bethany is offering $1,000 Tuition waivers for the five essay contest winners. These are resident tuition waivers to students who enroll full-time for 2012-2013 school year. The winner must meet all enrollment and ongoing academic requirements for that institution.
USAO
University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) (through the USAO Foundation Scholarship Fund) will match OCPA’s five prize amounts for winners who attend USAO. The scholarships will be spread over four semesters. Winners must meet all enrollment and ongoing academic requirements in order to receive a scholarship.
