Obamacare support at all-time low

Obamacare support at all-time low

A recent survey by the left-leaning Kaiser Foundation showed support for Obamacare at an all-time low. Hadley Heath at the Independent Women’s Forum offers some thoughts on why opposition grows stronger with each new survey while the Heritage Foundation notes that “the law’s declining popularity is rooted in decreased Democrat support:

“While Democrats continue to be substantially more supportive of the law than independents or Republicans, the change in favorability this month was driven by waning enthusiasm for the law among Democrats, among whom the share with a favorable view dropped from nearly two-thirds in September to just over half (52%) in October.”

For more information, check out this handy poll tracker at Real Clear Politics, which shows how opposition to the law has steadily increased in the 19 months since the healthcare bill was passed and signed into law in March 2010.
