Oklahoma #16 in survey of best and worst states for business

October 27, 2015

Downtown%20Tulsa.jpgChief Executive Network released the 2015 results of its annual survey, Best and Worst State Rankings. Each year, Chief Executive asks more than 500 CEOs to provide their selections for the best and worst states for doing business using the criteria: taxes and regulations, workforce quality, and living environment.

The results of our 11th annual survey clearly show that CEOs favor states that foster growth through progressive business development programs, low taxes and a quality living environment.

Oklahoma moved up this year to come in at #16. The survey credits this ranking to Oklahoma continuing to enact pro-business laws and cuts to the top income tax rate. See the full rankings here.
